"As a contestant in the 2009 Miss Ujena Mid-Atlantic finals in Baltimore, MD. I was introduced to event photographer, Dan Nunnally. I was immediately impressed as he was very polite, professional and still very welcoming at the same time. I've worked with several photographers as I've been climbing my way through the industry and I've come to find that for the most part, photographers are either too serious or not serious enough. One extreme or the other, it's so hard to find the right balance. I personally find that you have to have and maintain a certain level of professionalism, while still enabling yourself to let loose on a shoot. A great shoot consists of respect between a model and photographer of one another's talents, time and creative visions, but being comfortable and free to be yourself is also important. Dan Nunnally has the perfect combination!

I've shot with Dan several times since and each experience was a pleasure and a learning experience. Dan treats his models with the utmost respect and is a true gentleman. He is exceptionally skilled in the field and able to direct a shoot while still giving the model space for her own input and creativity. Although he takes the time to think through and plan every possible outcome and aspect of a shoot there is still always a sense of "go with the flow" and freedom. He sets a goal of an optimum image yet has an open minded approach to such an achievement. I can always expect the best results from our shoots and enjoy each session to the fullest. He keeps you laughing all the while helping bring out your highest potential and teaching valued lessons. He's great for advice and always up for a challenge! He's one of those photographers that all the models enjoy shooting with over and over again, in fact many of us refer to him has Papa Dan or Daddy Dan.
